Edward Oberlton

Founder, Allocate AI · Atlanta

I spent years in tech, at Google Cloud, DocuSign and AWS, where pay never arrives as one number. Base on one schedule, a bonus on another, stock vesting on its own calendar. Every budgeting app I tried assumed a paycheck and a pie chart. The real questions, can I afford this, am I on track, what happens if I say yes, lived in a spreadsheet that was wrong by the second week.

So I built the thing I wanted. Allocate reads the same numbers you do, answers in plain words, and stages every change for your approval. It holds no money and moves no money. It just makes the next decision clear.

It's still built the way it started: one person, listening closely, shipping what people actually ask for. If something's off, tell me. I read every message.

Where this is going

Personal finance that works the same everywhere.

Most people, in most countries, get the same three tools: a bank app that shows the past, a spreadsheet that goes stale, and advice written for someone else. We think everyone deserves what a good planner gives you: a straight answer, from your own numbers, before you decide.

Allocate is live in the United States today. The plan is to bring the same clarity to every place people get paid, one country and one bank at a time.

Try it with your own numbers.

Sign up, tell Allocate what you take home, and it starts planning before a bank is linked. Link one when you're ready.
