The Workspace is Allocate's open canvas. Where the rest of the app has fixed pages, the Workspace is a board you lay out yourself, with cards, notes, and live sheets. Each card is a slice of your own data: a chart of dining spending by month, a list of upcoming vests, a net worth line, a single number like current safe to spend. Sheets are small live tables that recalculate as your data changes. Notes are plain text for your own thinking.
The point is that different people have different questions. Someone deciding whether to lease or buy a car wants a board with their transportation spending, their next three vests, and a sheet comparing the two payments. Someone planning a wedding wants the wedding goal, the sinking funds feeding it, and a note of what has been paid. Someone tracking a concentrated stock position wants the vest schedule, the share price, and the share of net worth it represents. None of those is a page Allocate could design in advance, so the Workspace lets you build it.
Cards pull from the same numbers as everything else, so a card showing grocery spending matches the grocery figure on the Home page, and it updates when new transactions arrive. Boards can be kept for months or cleared after a decision is made.
Allo-Bot can add cards to a board if you ask it to, and can read a board to answer questions about it. Nothing on a board changes your plan unless you take it to the plan and approve it.
